Hongju founded Admat in 1997. He has over 30 years of valuable experience working with tantalum and niobium metals and has made exceptional contributions to the technologies used in this industry.
Prior to starting Admat Inc., Hongju was the R&D Manager at Cabot Supermetals in Boyertown, PA. In this role, he developed technologies and Prior to Cabot, Hongju developed pilot processes at Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals. His experience is backed up with a PhD. in Chemical Engineering.processes that yielded four US Patents and many publications. These included two patents defining processes for improved control on size distribution and one improving performance of high capacitance tantalum powder.

Prior to joining Admat, Eric was the Global Sales Manager at Cabot Supermetals in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. In this role, he was responsible for the sales and distribution of Tantalum and Niobium metals and alloys in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. During his 10 plus years at Cabot Supermetals, Eric worked to develop new product forms and alloys, reduce production cycle times, strengthen product quality and improve customer service. Furthermore he developed and patented new processing technology to improve the grain structure of tantalum used in semiconductor applications.
Prior to Cabot, Eric sold electrical industrial process heating systems to manufacturers in the plastic, metal, defense, and food industries.Since joining Admat, Eric has expanded our product portfolio to include machined parts, tantalum coilsets, explosively bonded engineered products, tantalum and tungsten flanges, and has developed custom alloys for specific customer applications. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Management, from Thomas A Edison State College, in Trenton, New Jersey.
Allen joined Admat in 2006. He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and also studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Admat benefits from Allen’s engineering background and his AutoCAD experience.If your business requires custom fabricated or engineered products, Allen will oversee the product design and prototype phase to ensure that all requirements are met. Additionally Allen is responsible for our incoming product quality control.
He ensures that products meet the required specifications and samples chemistry using third party labs.
Vito has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of refractory metals technology and business.He received a B.S. from Drexel University and a M.S. from the University of Florida, both in Material Science. He has worked for GTE Sylvania, OSRAM, Plansee, H.C. Starck and GE in a variety of engineering, marketing, manufacturing, consulting and management roles.
His tungsten and molybdenum experience spans chemicals, powders, pressing, sintering, billets, forgings, plate, sheet, rod, wire and machined parts and products. He has developed advanced process technology to produce parts for a variety of lighting, defense, aerospace, medical, glass, flat panel display and micro-electronics markets.
For the past 15 years, Vito has served as President and CEO of MBDN, a virtual factory dedicated to materials and electronic manufacturing. Vito has received 7 US patents and 23 proprietary technology awards, including GTE’s prestigious Warner Award. He is ready to use his expertise to help our customers address their refractory metals challenges and provide innovative, cost effective solutions to help them solve their most difficult problems.
Mr. Robert W. Balliett is a consultant providing technical support to the metals industry. He is an experienced operations and technology manager with extensive experience in product and process development. Mr. Balliett has expertise in the refractory metals including powder fabrication, vacuum metallurgy, vacuum melting, casting, forging, extrusion, rolling, lubrication, fabrication, and wire drawing. He has metallurgical operations experience with a variety of specialty high value metals including aluminum, copper, lead, zinc, niobium, tantalum, molybdenum and the precious metals serving the microelectronic component, semiconductor, chemicals, medical equipment, military, coatings, power, and aerospace industries.
