Tantalum wire is commonly used as the lead wires on tantalum capacitors.
Other applications include chemical processing and lighting applications. Because Admat can supply tantalum wire with a premium surface finish, it has superior performance in such applications.
Admat is also the leading supplier of Tantalum 7.5% Tungsten (Ta7.5W) and Tantalum 10% Tungsten (Ta10W) wires. These products are ideal for use in highly corrosive environments, and as an oxygen getter in lighting applications.
High strength and grain stabilized wire is also available for specialty applications.
We can supply rods, bars, and ingots in diameters exceeding 10”. A variety of shapes, alloys and purities are available.
